Types of Trips

The service offers two types of trip reservations:

Days and Hours

The service operates all days, except for Sundays and major holidays (listed here). Hours of operation are as follows:


The service region includes all of Bristol, New Britain, Newington, and Plainville. The area also includes parts of Berlin (including all of East Berlin and Kensington), Farmington, and Meriden, as well as Hartford and West Hartford south of I-84. Passengers wishing to travel to or from these locations must contact Margaret Pieniazek at 860-589-6950 prior to making a reservation to verify the address falls within the service area (shaded in the map below).

Service is not provided outside of this area. However, transfers to or from locations served by Greater Hartford Transit District or Middletown Area Transit may be possible. For more information, please contact these operators.

The current fare is $3.00 for each one-way trip, or $24.00 for a 10-ticket book. Ticket books can be purchased the following ways:

1) By mail using an order form: Call 860-589-6950 to receive an order form in the mail. Order forms allow payment by check, money order or credit card. Checks and money orders should be payable to "CTTRANSIT", and mailed to:

2) Order online for home delivery using a credit card here.

3) Purchase at the CTTRANSIT kiosk: Go to State House Square, Downtown Hartford.

4) Purchase at your local Stop & Shop supermarket from the courtesy desk. Please click here for a list of participating locations.

Personal Care Attendants

If you require a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to accompany you on bus trips, the PCA rides free. Companions may accompany ADA riders but must pay the appropriate fare.
